    A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo avaliar os impactes do ru{\'\i}do emitido pelos postes e linhas de alta tens{\~a}o no ambiente contru{\'\i}do. A metodologia adotada compreendeu a medi{\c c}{\~a}o de n{\'\i}veis sonoros, a realiza{\c c}{\~a}o de testes audiom{\'e}tricos e a aplica{\c c}{\~a}o de inqu{\'e}ritos {\`a} popula{\c c}{\~a}o residente. Para testar a metodologia desenvolvida foi realizado um estudo do tipo {\textquotedblleft}expostos{\textquotedblright} e {\textquotedblleft}n{\~a}o-expostos{\textquotedblright} em duas {\'a}reas predominantemente urbanas do munic{\'\i}pio de Guimar{\~a}es. A freguesia de Serzedelo foi classificada como {\textquotedblleft}exposta{\textquotedblright} devido a elevada presen{\c c}a da fonte em estudo, enquanto a freguesia de Aba{\c c}{\~a}o (S{\~a}o Tom{\'e}) foi classificada como {\textquotedblleft}n{\~a}o-exposta{\textquotedblright}, por n{\~a}o ter registo da passagem destas infraestruturas.Os n{\'\i}veis sonoros registados em Serzedelo foram mais elevados, com uma diferen{\c c}a m{\'e}dia de 4,3 dB, ap{\'o}s a tentativa de isolamento da fonte a diferen{\c c}a m{\'e}dia registada foi de 5,6 dB. Os testes audiom{\'e}tricos adaptados demonstraram que o grupo dos {\textquotedblleft}expostos{\textquotedblright} {\'e} pouco sens{\'\i}vel {\`a}s baixas frequ{\^e}ncias. Em Serzedelo tamb{\'e}m foi registado um maior n{\'u}mero de inquiridos com problemas de sa{\'u}de, nomeadamente, com doen{\c c}as cardiovasculares, depress{\~o}es, doen{\c c}as metab{\'o}licas e dist{\'u}rbios do sono.

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.
