    A deforma{\c c}{\~a}o permanente {\'e} uma das principais degrada{\c c}{\~o}es que ocorrem nos pavimentos flex{\'\i}veis e se reflete em afundamentos que aparecem na superf{\'\i}cie dos revestimentos asf{\'a}lticos sob a forma de fundamento de trilha de roda. Este fen{\^o}meno {\'e} caracter{\'\i}stico de elevadas temperaturas, ocorrendo, rincipalmente no ver{\~a}o. Apesar da parcela de import{\^a}ncia da deforma{\c c}{\~a}o permanente ser relativa ao gregado, a por{\c c}{\~a}o devida ao ligante {\'e} relevante. Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar resultados e ensaios de deforma{\c c}{\~a}o permanente conduzidos com misturas com asfalto borracha em compara{\c c}{\~a}o com uma mistura convencional de refer{\^e}ncia. Foram realizados ensaios de laborat{\'o}rio, sendo um, o ensaio de cisalhamento repetido a altura constante (RSST-CH), para pavimentos novos e outro com o simulador de tr{\'a}fego Wheel Tracking, para reabilita{\c c}{\~a}o de pavimentos. Os resultados obtidos para pavimentos novos revelaram que as misturas com asfalto borracha obtiveram uma maior resist{\^e}ncia {\`a} deforma{\c c}{\~a}o permanente. Para pavimentos reabilitados, os resultados mostraram que a mistura convencional apresentou uma elevada taxa de velocidade de deforma{\c c}{\~a}o e que inviabilizaria o seu emprego em camadas de desgaste. Por outro lado, a substitui{\c c}{\~a}o de parte da mistura convencional por misturas com asfalto borracha mostrou uma significativa redu{\c c}{\~a}o na deforma{\c c}{\~a}o permanente total.
