    No presente artigo, o conceito BIM (Building Information Modeling) e os sistemas de classifica{\c c}{\~a}o da informa{\c c}{\~a}o foram combinados no sentido de entender de que forma os sistemas de gest{\~a}o da informa{\c c}{\~a}o contribuem para a otimiza{\c c}{\~a}o dos processos de gest{\~a}o da constru{\c c}{\~a}o.

    O objetivo centra-se na identifica{\c c}{\~a}o e estudo dos diferentes tipos de sistemas de classifica{\c c}{\~a}o, integrando-os com os modelos BIM de modo a obter uma melhor organiza{\c c}{\~a}o da informa{\c c}{\~a}o desde a fase do projeto de engenharia, com o objetivo da melhoria do desempenho dos utilizadores no desenvolvimento dos modelos de planeamento e custo (4D e 5D). Adicionalmente e face aos resultados da aplica{\c c}{\~a}o dos sistemas existentes, este artigo amplia o tema explorando um sistema de classifica{\c c}{\~a}o de sistemas e organiza{\c c}{\~a}o da informa{\c c}{\~a}o baseado num sistema internacional existente mais adequado os objetivos de aplica{\c c}{\~a}o, com o intuito de retirar vantagens competitivas da sua utiliza{\c c}{\~a}o no {\^a}mbito da gest{\~a}o. Este modelo de sistema pretende organizar de toda a informa{\c c}{\~a}o dos modelos 3D por forma a promover uma linguagem transversal e melhorar o rigor da informa{\c c}{\~a}o e comunica{\c c}{\~a}o entre os diversos intervenientes, uniformizando processos funcionais e organizacionais, aumentando a efici{\^e}ncia, a produtividade e rentabilidade nas diversas fases da cadeia de valor de uma organiza{\c c}{\~a}o sistemista.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 25 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
