    A ado{\c c}{\~a}o do BIM nos procedimentos e metodologias de trabalho tem vindo a abranger transversalmente todos os intervenientes na ind{\'u}stria da Arquitetura, Engenharia, Constru{\c c}{\~a}o e Opera{\c c}{\~a}o (AECO).

    O BIM 4D adiciona ao BIM 3D param{\'e}trico a vari{\'a}vel do tempo sendo poss{\'\i}vel incorporar no modelo um cronograma de tempo que permite simular e analisar as diferentes fases de execu{\c c}{\~a}o da constru{\c c}{\~a}o. A abordagem 4D integra tamb{\'e}m a dete{\c c}{\~a}o de conflitos entre as especialidades.

    O BIM 5D acrescenta ao BIM 4D a vari{\'a}vel custo, permitindo aos profissionais obter uma estimativa do custo total do projeto e tamb{\'e}m estudar virtualmente as v{\'a}rias solu{\c c}{\~o}es poss{\'\i}veis de forma a baixar o custo global do projeto.

    O artigo incide sobre o trabalho realizado no {\^a}mbito da disserta{\c c}{\~a}o de mestrado do primeiro autor, que passa pela an{\'a}lise 4D e 5D de um empreendimento e que tem sido realizada em regime de est{\'a}gio na empresa BIMMS. {\'E} pretendido atrav{\'e}s da an{\'a}lise 4D resolver de forma r{\'a}pida e eficaz os problemas encontrados em obra e tamb{\'e}m otimizar o cronograma das atividades (otimizar o tempo). A an{\'a}lise 5D permite quantificar analisar v{\'a}rias solu{\c c}{\~o}es na perespectiva de otimizar o pre{\c c}o global do empreendimento, al{\'e}m e permitir o seu controlo ao longo do tempo. O projeto envolve duas fases: a primeira {\'e} a modela{\c c}{\~a}o 3D e a segunda {\'e} a an{\'a}lise 4D e 5D com base na modela{\c c}{\~a}o efetuada na primeira fase.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 25 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
