    Este artigo pretende expor as principais li{\c c}{\~o}es pr{\'a}ticas em mat{\'e}ria de seguran{\c c}a e sa{\'u}de retiradas das fases de escava{\c c}{\~a}o subterr{\^a}nea e de revestimento definitivo da constru{\c c}{\~a}o da 2{\textordfeminine} fase do T{\'u}nel do Mar{\~a}o (doravante designada "TDM"). Este t{\'u}nel, o mais longo em constru{\c c}{\~a}o nos {\'u}ltimos anos na Pen{\'\i}nsula Ib{\'e}rica, tem como particularidade o facto de a escava{\c c}{\~a}o ter sido interrompida, por um per{\'\i}odo de tr{\^e}s anos, apenas com o revestimento prim{\'a}rio aplicado. Inicialmente, apresenta-se o caso de estudo. Posteriormente, descrevem-se as li{\c c}{\~o}es dele retiradas, salientando os riscos de atropelamento, queda de blocos, soterramento, explos{\~a}o extempor{\^a}nea, queda em altura, inala{\c c}{\~a}o de gases e poeiras, entre outros, apresentando ainda caracter{\'\i}sticas peculiares, algumas das quais diretamente ligadas {\`a} suspens{\~a}o dos trabalhos. Este artigo afigura-se como relevante do ponto de vista do setor da constru{\c c}{\~a}o, dado apresentar um exemplo bem sucedido, com novas abordagens, de gest{\~a}o de riscos.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 24 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
