    Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo compreender os impactes da polui{\c c}{\~a}o sonora de baixa frequ{\^e}ncia na qualidade de vida da popula{\c c}{\~a}o e na sustentabilidade dos lugares, no munic{\'\i}pio de Guimar{\~a}es, Portugal. A investiga{\c c}{\~a}o realizada foi desdobrada em duas vertentes. A primeira compreendeu medi{\c c}{\~o}es sum{\'a}rias realizadas em 2014, totalizando 9 pontos, com o grupo {\textquoteleft}pr{\'o}ximo da fonte{\textquoteright}, residentes no raio de at{\'e} 50 metros, e o grupo {\textquoteleft}distante da fonte{\textquoteright}, a mais de 250 metros de dist{\^a}ncia em rela{\c c}{\~a}o {\`a} fonte. A segunda abarcou medi{\c c}{\~o}es de 72 horas realizadas em 2015, com o grupo {\textquoteleft}muito pr{\'o}ximo da fonte{\textquoteright} at{\'e} 20 metros da fonte. A dimens{\~a}o subjetiva compreendeu a percep{\c c}{\~a}o da incomodidade do ru{\'\i}do pela popula{\c c}{\~a}o usando um inqu{\'e}rito, adaptado da metodologia da Universidade de Salford. Na primeira abordagem, o ru{\'\i}do ultrapassa os valores da curva crit{\'e}rio independente do grupo. Na segunda abordagem, os n{\'\i}veis de ru{\'\i}do medidos apresentam caracter{\'\i}sticas flutuantes, e de acordo com a mesma metodologia, o ru{\'\i}do causado por essas infraestruturas pode ser incomodativo.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 25 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
