    Com o objetivo de avaliar a efic{\'a}cia de diferentes medidas para mitigar a retra{\c c}{\~a}o do bet{\~a}o, aferiu se a influ{\^e}ncia de tr{\^e}s diferentes dosagens de cinzas volantes (CV), de um adjuvante redutor de retra{\c c}{\~a}o (ARR) e de um pol{\'\i}mero superabsorvente (PSA) na retra{\c c}{\~a}o total, autog{\'e}nea e por secagem de bet{\~o}es. Neste contexto, realizou se uma campanha experimental que consistiu na medi{\c c}{\~a}o da retra{\c c}{\~a}o de provetes livres e selados, fabricados com as diferentes composi{\c c}{\~o}es analisadas. Complementarmente, determinou se a resist{\^e}ncia {\`a} compress{\~a}o das mesmas composi{\c c}{\~o}es. As CV diminu{\'\i}ram, consideravelmente, a retra{\c c}{\~a}o total e, de uma forma ainda mais significativa, a retra{\c c}{\~a}o autog{\'e}nea, sendo estes efeitos mais not{\'o}rios com o aumento da sua dosagem. J{\'a} na retra{\c c}{\~a}o por secagem, as CV n{\~a}o surtiram grande efeito. O ARR reduziu todos os tipos de retra{\c c}{\~a}o avaliados, sendo a autog{\'e}nea bem menos afetada. O PSA diminuiu todos os tipos de retra{\c c}{\~a}o, sendo, na retra{\c c}{\~a}o autog{\'e}nea, mais eficaz. A composi{\c c}{\~a}o com 60\% de CV foi a mais eficiente na diminui{\c c}{\~a}o da retra{\c c}{\~a}o autog{\'e}nea e a com ARR foi a mais eficaz na redu{\c c}{\~a}o da retra{\c c}{\~a}o por secagem.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 25 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
