    A exposi{\c c}{\~a}o ao ru{\'\i}do tem efeitos nocivos e constitui um fator de risco para a sa{\'u}de humana. O

    principal objetivo da presente pesquisa {\'e} analisar a exposi{\c c}{\~a}o ao ru{\'\i}do de baixa frequ{\^e}ncia

    proveniente dos postes el{\'e}tricos de alta tens{\~a}o em {\'a}reas residenciais, especialmente em Sezerdelo

    (munic{\'\i}pio de Guimar{\~a}es) e os impactes na sa{\'u}de da popula{\c c}{\~a}o que a{\'\i} reside. A metodologia

    utilizada para as an{\'a}lises do ru{\'\i}do ambiental foi fundamentada no documento elaborado pelo

    Acoustics Research Centre (DEFRA), da Universidade de Salford, intitulado Procedure for the

    assessment of low frequency noise complaints (2011). Os n{\'\i}veis de ru{\'\i}do de Serzedelo ultrapassam

    os valores de refer{\^e}ncia do crit{\'e}rio da curva nas faixas de 50Hz e 63Hz de 1/3 de oitava em todos

    os pontos de medi{\c c}{\~a}o, concretizados em 2014. Neste caso, o n{\'\i}vel de ru{\'\i}do proveniente dos postes

    de alta tens{\~a}o pode ser incomodativo e sucept{\'\i}vel de impacter na sa{\'u}de da popula{\c c}{\~a}o que reside em

    Serzdelo.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 25 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
