    Neste artigo apresenta-se um modelo baseado em agentes que foi constru{\'\i}do para simular o impacto que diferentes pol{\'\i}ticas poder{\~a}o ter no refor{\c c}o da atratividade das {\'a}reas de acolhimento empresarial (AAE) de quatro munic{\'\i}pios portugueses. As pol{\'\i}ticas foram simuladas atrav{\'e}s de tr{\^e}s cen{\'a}rios, que diferem no grau de coordena{\c c}{\~a}o supramunicipal e no tipo de a{\c c}{\~o}es implementadas nas AAE. Os resultados demonstram que a qualifica{\c c}{\~a}o coordenada das AAE {\'e} a pol{\'\i}tica mais eficaz. Foi neste cen{\'a}rio que se obteve o maior n{\'u}mero de AAE atrativas, que mais empresas se deslocalizaram e que um maior n{\'u}mero de lotes vagos foi ocupado. A simula{\c c}{\~a}o revelou ainda que a pol{\'\i}tica de promo{\c c}{\~a}o de {\'a}reas dispersas e com baixos n{\'\i}veis de qualifica{\c c}{\~a}o {\'e} ineficiente na atra{\c c}{\~a}o de empresas. Esta conclus{\~a}o {\'e} muito importante, uma vez que p{\~o}e em causa as pol{\'\i}ticas que t{\^e}m vindo a ser seguidas pelos munic{\'\i}pios portugueses ao longo das {\'u}ltimas d{\'e}cadas.

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 25 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
