    Apesar da a{\c c}{\~a}o combinada da carbonata{\c c}{\~a}o e do ingresso de Cl- ser uma realidade, ainda n{\~a}o h{\'a} consenso acerca do efeito desta combina{\c c}{\~a}o sobre a durabilidade do bet{\~a}o. O trabalho analisa a influ{\^e}ncia da carbonata{\c c}{\~a}o sobre a penetra{\c c}{\~a}o de Cl-, tendo em conta a a{\c c}{\~a}o conjunta. Foram moldados provetes em argamassa utilizando CEM I 42,5R e a/c 0,56. Ap{\'o}s a cura os provetes foram submetidos aos ciclos de imers{\~a}o/secagem. Metade dos provetes foi submetida {\`a} imers{\~a}o em solu{\c c}{\~a}o contendo NaCl e secagem em c{\^a}mara com CO2. A outra metade esteve na mesma solu{\c c}{\~a}o e, depois, em ambiente de laborat{\'o}rio. Ap{\'o}s o per{\'\i}odo de ensaio, avaliou-se o perfil de Cl- e a profundidade de carbonata{\c c}{\~a}o. Os resultados mostram que a carbonata{\c c}{\~a}o influencia diretamente a penetra{\c c}{\~a}o de Cl-. Amostras n{\~a}o carbonatadas apresentaram um perfil com teores de Cl- mais elevados do que as carbonatadas. Assim, para a situa{\c c}{\~a}o estudada, a combina{\c c}{\~a}o destes agentes pode atrasar o in{\'\i}cio da corros{\~a}o e, consequentemente, aumentar a durabilidade do bet{\~a}o.

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.
