    A produ{\c c}{\~a}o de bet{\~a}o assume um papel muito importante na ind{\'u}stria da constru{\c c}{\~a}o uma vez que mais de 10 bili{\~o}es de toneladas s{\~a}o produzidas anualmente, sendo a ind{\'u}stria do cimento respons{\'a}vel pela emiss{\~a}o de cerca de 7\% das emiss{\~o}es de CO2 para a atmosfera. Portanto, a produ{\c c}{\~a}o de bet{\~o}es auto-compact{\'a}veis (BAC) eco-eficientes, contendo baixos teores de cimento na sua formula{\c c}{\~a}o, contribuir{\'a} para a sustentabilidade das constru{\c c}{\~o}es devido {\`a} redu{\c c}{\~a}o do uso de cimento portland, ao aproveitamento de res{\'\i}duos industriais, para al{\'e}m da minimiza{\c c}{\~a}o da energia necess{\'a}ria para a sua coloca{\c c}{\~a}o e compacta{\c c}{\~a}o. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho pretende avaliar a viabilidade da produ{\c c}{\~a}o de BAC com baixos teores de cimento atrav{\'e}s da determina{\c c}{\~a}o das propriedades no estado fresco e endurecido de bet{\~o}es com elevado volume de cinzas volantes (CV) e metacaulino (MK). Para tanto foram formuladas 6 composi{\c c}{\~o}es de bet{\~o}es tendo como base duas refer{\^e}ncias fabricadas com 300 e 500 kg/m3 de cimento, sendo analisada a sua substitui{\c c}{\~a}o por: 60\% de CV e 50\% de CV mais 20\% de MK, al{\'e}m da adi{\c c}{\~a}o de cal hidratada nestes dois tra{\c c}os com adi{\c c}{\~o}es. Para avaliar a auto-compactabilidade foram realizados testes de espalhamento, T , Anel-J, Funil-V e Caixa-L, tendo sido determinada a resist{\^e}ncia {\`a} compress{\~a}o aos 3, 7, 14, 21 e 28 dias. Os resultados mostraram que {\'e} poss{\'\i}vel produzir BAC com baixos teores de cimento atrav{\'e}s do recurso a elevados teores de adi{\c c}{\~o}es minerais, atendendo aos requisitos reol{\'o}gicos para a autocompactabilidade, com resist{\^e}ncias moderadas de 25 a 30 MPa.

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.
