    WASTES 2019: Call for Papers - 5th edition of the International Conference

    Dear Colleague,

    We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 5th edition of the International Conference WASTES: Solutions, Treatments and Opportunities, that will take place at the Campus of FCT-UNL, Caparica - Lisbon, from 4 to 6 September 2019.

    After the success of the previous editions of the conference, we expect to once again bring together academia and industry experts from the Waste Management and Recycling sectors, from around the world, offering state of the art knowledge and sharing experiences with all in attendance.

    Authors are invited to submit Full Papers until February 15th, 2019, or Short Papers until May 15th, 2019.

    All Full papers accepted will be included in a book published by CRC Press – Taylor & Francis Group, that will be proposed to Scopus and Web of Science (ISI) for indexing. Note that the articles included in the Wastes 2015 book are presently available in Scopus, while those from the 2017 edition are indexed in Web of Science (ISI).

    Also the Short papers accepted will be included in the Book of Proceedings of the Conference (with ISSN).

    About CTAC

    The Centre for Territory, Environment and Construction (CTAC) is a research unit of the School of Engineering of University of Minho (UMinho), recognised by the “FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia” (Foundation for Science and Technology), associated to the Department of Civil Engineering (DEC), with whom it shares resources and namely human resources.

    Currently CTAC aggregates 24 researchers holding a PhD of which 20 are faculty professors of the Civil Engineering Department. Read more
